Embodied Yoga Flow

Welcome to Embodied Yoga Flow, a soulful practice that weaves together traditional asana, breathwork, mantra, mudra, poetry, and essential oils to invite a deeper relationship with your body, mind, and spirit. This class is rooted in Vinyasa and Tantra traditions, while encouraging you to move in a way that feels natural, intuitive, and deeply connected to your inner landscape.

Rather than focusing solely on form, Embodied Yoga Flow invites you into a more felt experience, one where you listen inwardly, respond with curiosity, and allow movement to arise organically.

What to Expect:

Traditional Asana Meets Intuitive Movement:
We honour classical yoga shapes and sequencing, while also offering space to explore movement in a way that feels nourishing and instinctive. Expect flows, somatic pauses, and room to follow your body’s own wisdom.

Tantra-Inspired Themes:
Each month, we explore a theme rooted in Tantra philosophy, such as presence, inner power, love, or liberation. Working with the same theme across several weeks allows the body and mind to soften into rhythm, building safety, strength, and trust in what’s to come. This cyclical approach invites depth, integration, and a sense of continuity within your practice.

Breath, Mantra & Mudra:
Conscious breathwork is woven throughout the session to support regulation and expansion. Mantra and mudra are integrated to deepen your energetic and emotional connection to the practice.

Poetry & Reflection:
Poetic invitations, contemplative prompts, and moments of stillness help create a meditative rhythm, inviting insight and integration on all levels.

Essential Oils for Grounding & Rest:
We begin and close each session with the mindful use of essential oils to support grounding at the start and deep rest at the end. This simple ritual enhances sensory awareness and supports the nervous system in softening and settling.

Benefits:

  • Encourages embodied awareness and self-trust

  • Supports emotional regulation through breath and movement

  • Enhances flexibility, strength, and fluidity

  • Invites spiritual connection and inner alignment

  • Cultivates creative expression through intuitive movement

  • Supports nervous system balance through scent and ritual

Whether you're returning to your mat or seeking a new way to explore yoga, Embodied Yoga Flow is a space to come home to yourself, breath by breath, moment by moment.

A Little Bit About Moira

I am Moira your yoga teacher, a little bit about me and yoga – I have been practicing yoga for about 9 years and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it was just after I qualified as a psychotherapist that I embarked on my yoga journey. Initially I was all in, hot yoga, rocket yoga, cardio yoga and while this served a purpose at the time I now know I missed so much of what yoga truly is. With my yoga teacher Laura, I have been on a journey that has truly been transformational. Now, I slow it all down, I create space to breath, to be, to connect my mind, body and breath so I can move through life consciously connected to myself and others.

Located in the heart of the community, you can join any of the yoga classes in person at St Christophers Church Hall, Blackpool Road, Lea. There is plenty of parking at the church or at the Pig and Whistle car park next door, there is also a bus stop just outside if that’s how you roll.

St Christophers Church Hall is a lovely room, perfect for yoga, it is warm, clean and relaxing, its important you feel safe and welcome when you come along. I cant wait to welcome you there.

All yoga equipment is provided including mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets and eye pillows, however if you want to bring your own you are more than welcome.
