Embodied Yoga Classes - Creating Space
Hi, I’m Moira — founder and facilitator of New Thoughts New Feelings Embodied.
This is a space for yoga and movement that centres listening, choice, and relationship with your body. Across all classes, the invitation is to move, rest, and notice, not for performance or getting it right, but to come back to yourself in a way that feels honest and possible.
Some practices are slow and quiet. Others are more dynamic, rhythmic, or expressive. What they share is a common ethos: that your body is not something to control or perfect, but something to be in relationship with.
Classes are held in community spaces in and around Preston, with St Christopher’s Church Hall as our home base, a place where we gather to practise together in a simple, accessible setting.
You’re welcome exactly as you are. Whether you’re new to yoga, returning after time away, or exploring a different way of moving, there is space for you here.
All yoga equipment is provided including mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets and eye pillows, however if you want to bring your own you are more than welcome.

A Little Bit About Moira
I am Moira your yoga teacher, a little bit about me and yoga – I have been practicing yoga for about 9 years and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it was just after I qualified as a psychotherapist that I embarked on my yoga journey. Initially I was all in, hot yoga, rocket yoga, cardio yoga and while this served a purpose at the time I now know I missed so much of what yoga truly is. With my yoga teacher Laura, I have been on a journey that has truly been transformational. Now, I slow it all down, I create space to breath, to be, to connect my mind, body and breath so I can move through life consciously connected to myself and others. It has been my vision and mission to create a space in my local community for my local community to make space for themselves. A space that allows us to notice, to breathe, to be mindful, to connect to ourselves in body, mind and spirit and to each other. It is in these spaces that individuals and communities grow in love, kindness, tolerance and joy.
